Carmalita公园 was built on 56 acres in 1975. The park was funded by 公园 and Rec 影响费用 and Ad Valorem 税. The park is home to the Charlotte Warriors Pop Warner football team, 夏洛特BMX, Charlotte County Softball Association, Punta Gorda Softball Association, Charlotte County Men's Morning Senior Softball League, and Charlotte County 60+ Men's Senior Softball League.
The Captain Don Cerbone Memorial 溜冰场 is a shining example of a community project made possible by the determination and commitment of private citizens, the generosity of the business community, and the support of local government.
